The business of Bata in the territory of today´s Lebanon can be followed from 1932, when the first company stores were opened in the country. In 1933, a sister company and a factory were established in the country. The company is still operating in Lebanon, and today there is a network of stores.
- In 1932 Bata operated stores in Beirut and Tripoli
- In 1933, a sister company Chaussures Bata S.A., Beirut was established, and early in June of the same year, a small Bata footwear factory in Beirut began operation. It was replaced in 1935 by a new, modern, fully mechanised factory
- In 1939, Bata´s shoes were sold in shops in Beirut (3) and Tripoli
- 1962 – Societe Anonyme Libanaise Bata was on list of historically registered companies in Lebanon
- In 1992 the company Bata S. A. Libanais, Beirut operated in Lebanon; currently there is a Bata retail network in the country
