The Bata Company exported shoes to Estonia already in the late 1920s. To strengthen the sales, the company opened its own store, but it only stayed open for less than two years.
- The export of Bata´s shoes to Estonia in 1928 amounted to 14,000 pairs
- In the spring of 1931, Bata opened a shop in Tallinn; in that year 9 employees worked for the firm in Estonia
- At the end of 1932 the shop in Tallinn was closed
