We can follow the export of Bata shoes to Latvia from 1929. The company later opened its own store to strengthen its sales, but operated for less than two years.

- In the spring of 1931 Bata opened a shop in Riga (and also in other cities); in that year 15 employees worked for the company; the store was probably closed at the end of 1932
